And it&#039;s not just because I&#039;m a grammar violator.  And more often than that, a spoken word circus.  Because I do appreciate it when someone corrects me gently.  Or in a situation where it really is better to do something &quot;by the rules&quot;.  However subjective those situations are.  

It&#039;s just that I am fascinated by sociological themes like this.  And you write about them in a way that someone without a ton of technical knowledge can digest it.  imo, anyway.

Also, I&#039;m currently reading a book about slang and the author is pointing out that many theories exist about why slang develops, evolvs, what its purpose is trying to be.  None of the theories are without their gaping holes, and that is something that really interests me.</description>
